I love journals. The only thing I love more is having two journals. Journals come in many shapes, sizes and production methods – all of which make them unique to their owner. I recently purchased a great little travel journal, created by Poketo and found at Hoopers Bazaar in downtown Winnipeg, in anticipation of our forthcoming trip. This journal has day-specific pages for keeping track of the weather, location and travel mates as well a little pocket for keeping special items such as tickets. While I was incredibly excited about having this item, I was even more excited when I was recently rewarded with a beautiful leather-bound journal for my birthday. Made with 100% recycled cotton pages (replaceable I might add), I now have a place to put my more in-depth thoughts as well. Truly the best of both worlds.
