Studio Mauve is a full-service interior design firm. Founders Julie and Kristen specialize in creating thoughtful interior design solutions for both residential and commercial environments.

Preparing to launch, Studio Mauve needed a sophisticated brand to mark its place in the industry.

Inspired by Julie and Kristen’s human-centred design philosophy, we set out to create a brand that reflected their thoughtful and functional approach. Weaving femininity and post-modern sensibilities, we formed an exciting and mature brand to express their experience as designers as they took it out into the world.

To mauve, or not to mauve?
After several palette experimentations, we created a solution that incorporated the signature colour alongside an unexpected palette, producing both an exciting and mature brand, fitting partners Kristen and Julie.

While the initial brand suite was small, identifying future applications was important for the client. To allow for quick execution later, we built a suite of collateral mock-ups, in addition to providing brand typography and colour values.
