Clear Lake Trading Post

With strong roots in the community, Clear Lake Trading Post is important to visitors of Riding Mountain National Park, offering a place to purchase both essentials and non-essentials for outdoor adventures.

With new owners, the well-renowned trading post was perfectly positioned for a freshening up. 

Beginning with an icon of a black bear — notorious in the area — we built outwards using a rustic typeface, rough textures, and a happy, vintage ‘can do’ brand attitude. Exploring the park on foot, we captured images of adventures throughout the local landscapes to further digital messaging.

Having established a robust branding system, we set out to build a potent suite of brand materials, identifiable and shareable to help establish a presence in the park.

We used social media to position the Trading Post as essential to your park visit. We photographed Riding Mountain National Park all over, guiding people to great trails and sightseeing while showing Trading Post gear in action and fresh food and drinks on the go.

Thousands of people followed along, tagging the Trading Post in their park photos and making a stop at the storefront part of their park experience.
