If Day 1 of our trip was a whirlwind, Day 2 was a full-blown hurricane. The countdown to LCD was over, and we found ourselves on the floor, about 20 people from the stage, where the atmosphere was electric. But before we get to that, a quick breakdown of the day.

Day 2: Brooklyn Flea! Vintage purchases, food-tasting, good weather. Exploring downtown, visit to the Top of the Rock, getting lost trying to find the Shake Shack (thanks GPS), quick visit to the foot of Central Park. Back to Brooklyn for drinks. More drinks, mad dash to MSG, 3.75 hours of Dancing Ourselves Clean (the song gets crazy at 4:36). Incredible energy, subway ride home, discussion regarding Bryan Adams with Velcro-shoed security guard. Sleep, glorious sleep.
