If you saw one movie this summer, we hope it was Mad Max: Fury Road. When it comes to sci-fi, or post-apocalyptic dystopian futures, I’m usually on my own. But the visuals teased in the trailer (not to mention the glowing reviews) brought us to mutual agreement, and we found ourselves in awe of the effects used once seated in the theatre. Shot in Africa, approximately 2000 of 2400 shots used visual FX, all of which were consistently high in execution, some of which were perplexing complicated. So we did some digging to satisfy our thirst for knowledge. If you have a few minutes, check out the videos below.
