Knitting Action with Knitting Nancy

Here’s a little bit of Friday fun to cap off the work week. I remember playing with Knitting Nancy at my grandparents when I was little, on weekends when we’d head out west for a visit. The knitting, still in the box, is from a time long ago, when I was attempting to make a skipping rope (I guess that dream died along with my knitting career). Even though my skipping rope dreams have faded, I can still appreciate and admire the box Nancy lives in. The colours are great, and I love the hand-lettering and illustrations. Maybe some day I’ll finish that skipping rope. Probably unlikely, but a girl can dream can’t she?
