If there’s one thing we really enjoy, it’s signage. Actually, there are many things, but seeing authentic signage is always inspiring. This weekend in Clear Lake, Manitoba, we became click-happy with all the great examples surrounding us. While there is no doubt that it is a tourist destination, the town manages to retain a comforting charm. It’s streets are ripe with restaurants, cafes, corner stores, a gas station and even an old theatre — almost all of which have kept their original signs. It’s no small feat to keep these treasures alive in today’s world, and we’re happy we get to experience them. Here are a few of our favourites.
