Big Easy Express

We know that at times we become transfixed on a particular band, or a particular genre of music. Who doesn’t? As of late, that band has (once again) become Edward Sharpe. Their newest album, ‘Here’, has been spinning on our turntable for the past week, and we’re beginning to wear down the grooves. There’s just something honest about their music which make them impossible to put down. Which is why we were super delighted to discover Big Easy Express, a new film documenting Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic ZerosOld Crow Medicine Show and Mumford & Sons as they ride the rails from Oakland to New Orleans. What’s not to love here? 3 bands, 6 cities, 1 train, and thousands of miles of track. Sounds perfect to us. Directed by renowned filmmaker Emmett Malloy (Under the Great White Northern Lights), it looks to debut on iTunes June 26, and we’ll be there when it does! – Tyler + Jessie
